Responsibilities
- Perform physical tasks including excavation, demolition, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently (jackhammers, saws, etc.)
- Assist skilled tradespeople with scaffolding, concrete pouring, and framing
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and comply with OSHA safety standards
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment as needed
- Complete daily progress reports and communicate with site supervisors
- Assist in emergency response protocols and accident prevention
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience or equivalent trade training
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with zero tolerance for tardiness
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Must own basic hand tools (tape measure, hammer, utility knife)
