Responsibilities
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting materials, and operating hand/power tools
- Assist skilled tradesmen with site preparation and cleanup operations
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain organized job sites
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and blueprints
- Operate machinery like forklifts, excavators, and concrete mixers
- Assist in material handling, transportation, and inventory management
- Complete daily progress reports and maintain quality standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of construction site experience preferred
- Valid OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety compliance
- Ability to follow verbal instructions and work in a team setting
- Driver's license with clean driving record required
