Responsibilities
- Perform general construction tasks including excavation, concrete pouring, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Follow blueprints and supervisor instructions for precise project execution
- Maintain clean and organized job sites to meet OSHA standards
- Assist skilled tradesmen with framing, roofing, and finishing tasks
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Participate in pre-shift safety briefings and toolbox talks
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience required
- Valid OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in all weather conditions
- Basic understanding of construction safety protocols and PPE usage
- Reliable transportation to job sites across the Wichita metro
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with daily availability
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Experience with power tools and construction machinery preferred
