Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently per OSHA standards
- Assist carpenters, masons, and specialized trades with project execution
- Maintain job site cleanliness and implement safety protocols
- Read blueprints and follow supervisor instructions precisely
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment
- Perform heavy lifting (up to 75 lbs) and sustained physical labor
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year construction experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong mechanical aptitude and tool proficiency
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical exam
