Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and unloading materials
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, masons, electricians) with tasks like measuring, cutting, and installing materials
- Operate hand/power tools safely and maintain equipment functionality
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and wear required PPE
- Read blueprints and follow instructions from supervisors accurately
- Load/unift construction materials and ensure organized storage on-site
- Perform site cleanup and waste disposal daily
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of construction/labor experience preferred
- Valid O-10 Construction Safety Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Ability to work overtime/weekends as project demands
