Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris and setting up equipment
- Load/unload materials and transport tools safely
- Operate machinery (excavators, forklifts) with proper certification
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, masons, electricians)
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work areas
- Read blueprints and interpret construction plans
- Complete daily timecards and progress reports
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Pass background check and drug screening
