Responsibilities
- Execute excavation, demolition, and earth-moving operations using heavy machinery and hand tools
- Assist carpenters, masons, and electricians with material preparation and site setup
- Install and remove safety barriers, scaffolding, and temporary structures
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and properly dispose of construction debris
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and conduct daily equipment inspections
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate project execution
- Operate power tools including jackhammers, saws, and concrete mixers
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience or trade school certification
- OSHA 10-hour construction safety certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean driving record
- Knowledge of basic construction tools and materials
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions and variable schedules
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to follow verbal/written instructions
- Pre-employment drug screening and background check required
