Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in site preparation, including clearing, digging, and leveling areas for construction projects.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and stack building materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Tool Operation: Operate hand and power tools (drills, saws, levels) under the supervision of skilled tradespeople.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Assistance: Provide general assistance to carpenters, electricians, and plumbers as needed on the job.
- Transportation: Transport materials and tools to and from various job sites within the region.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We provide on-the-job training for enthusiastic candidates new to the industry.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for long periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and standing on concrete.
- Reliability: Punctual and consistent attendance is mandatory.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal instructions and communicate effectively with the team.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are preferred.
- Teamwork: Strong desire to work well within a team environment.
