Job Overview
As a Construction Laborer, you will play a crucial role in various phases of construction projects, ranging from commercial buildings to residential developments. You will work under the supervision of foremen and skilled tradespeople to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and prepare construction materials for use at job sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with various tasks as needed.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Keep job sites clean, organized, and free of debris.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies at all times.
- Perform basic measurements and measurements verification.
- Transport materials to and from the job site using company vehicles or equipment.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety equipment.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Experience in general labor or construction is a plus but not required.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
