Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks including material handling, site preparation, and equipment operation
- Assist skilled tradespeople with carpentry, masonry, and concrete work
- Operate hand/power tools safely and maintain clean, organized work sites
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and conduct daily equipment inspections
- Read blueprints and project specifications to ensure task accuracy
- Assist in building scaffolding, temporary structures, and demolition projects
- Participate in daily team briefings and progress updates
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction experience or trade school certification
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Basic math skills for measurement and material calculations
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
