Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with construction tasks including site preparation, material handling, and equipment operation
- Perform physical labor such as digging, lifting, carrying materials, and operating hand/power tools
- Maintain clean and organized job sites, removing debris and ensuring safety compliance
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and follow supervisor instructions
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Operate light machinery (e.g., saws, drills, compactors) with proper training
- Assist in setting up and breaking down job sites
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – we train the right candidates!
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and reliability with consistent attendance
- Basic understanding of safety practices and willingness to follow procedures
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Team player with positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
