Responsibilities
- Site Operations: Assist in the setup, loading, and unloading of materials and equipment at job sites to ensure efficient workflow.
- Equipment Assistance: Operate and maintain basic construction tools and machinery under the supervision of a foreman or skilled tradesperson.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Site Maintenance: Perform general cleanup duties, including debris removal, trench shoring, and ground leveling.
- Material Handling: Transport and organize construction materials, tools, and supplies in a timely and organized manner.
- Communication: Relay critical information to team members and supervisors regarding project progress and site conditions.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and work in varying weather conditions.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Attention to Detail: Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
- Communication: Ability to read and understand basic site instructions and safety signage.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic.
