Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Perform heavy manual labor including digging, grading, and preparing sites for construction projects.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Equipment Support: Operate power tools and light construction equipment under supervision to assist skilled tradespeople.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations at all times.
- Assisting Trades: Provide general support to carpenters, electricians, and masons as needed.
- Inventory Management: Assist in counting and checking materials to ensure accurate project tracking.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for 8+ hours a day, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Reliability: Must have a strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Safety Conscious: Previous experience in construction or a willingness to learn strict safety protocols is required.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with foremen and team members.
- Valid ID: Must possess a valid driver's license and legal authorization to work in the USA.
- Experience: Prior experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor is a plus but not mandatory.
