Responsibilities
- Perform general labor tasks on construction sites, including digging, hauling, and loading materials.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various duties.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Operate basic construction tools and equipment, ensuring proper care and maintenance.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings when necessary.
- Load and unload materials from trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, leveling ground, and setting up temporary structures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Previous construction experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
