Responsibilities
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from trucks and delivery vehicles.
- Keep the job site clean, organized, and free of debris to ensure a safe working environment.
- Operate basic construction machinery and equipment, such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and generators, under supervision.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols at all times.
- Assist skilled tradespeople, including carpenters and electricians, with daily tasks and measurements.
- Perform basic measurements and assist with blueprint interpretation and layout.
- Perform minor repairs to tools and maintain equipment in good working condition.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure accurately.
- Previous construction experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.
- Strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and teamwork.
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
