Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain heavy construction equipment and hand tools safely.
- Load, unload, and organize construction materials at job sites.
- Assist with various construction tasks including framing, drywall hanging, concrete finishing, and site cleanup.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
- Communicate effectively with foremen and team members to ensure project efficiency.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
- Must be able to perform physical labor for 8+ hours a day, including bending, lifting, and standing.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds repeatedly without assistance.
- Valid Class C Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Basic math skills for measurements and material estimation.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
