As a Construction Laborer, you will be the backbone of our projects, ensuring that materials are moved, sites are prepared, and safety standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing job sites by clearing debris, setting up barriers, and ensuring the work area is safe and accessible.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the site using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- General Labor: Perform manual tasks including digging, mixing concrete, pouring foundations, and assisting skilled tradespeople with heavy lifting.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction equipment and power tools under supervision.
- Quality & Safety: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor is preferred; however, we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting 50+ lbs and standing/walking for long durations.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Safety Compliance: Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and a commitment to following all safety protocols.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with foremen and team members.
