Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with construction tasks including material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently per OSHA standards
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment at job sites
- Maintain clean and organized work environments to ensure safety compliance
- Read blueprints and follow verbal instructions from site supervisors
- Participate in scaffold assembly/demolition and basic concrete work
- Report safety hazards and equipment malfunctions immediately
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience preferred
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- Must possess reliable transportation to job sites throughout South Florida
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic math skills for material measurements and inventory
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with daily start time at 6:00 AM
