Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing job sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding or forms.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment safely to and from the worksite.
- Tool Operation: Operate a variety of hand and power tools, including drills, saws, and levels, under supervision.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Site Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Team Support: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily tasks as directed by the foreman.
Qualifications
- Experience: Prior experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor is preferred but not required; we train the right candidates.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and working in various weather conditions.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to work well in a team setting.
