Responsibilities
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment onto and off trucks and trailers.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, marking areas, and setting up barriers.
- Assist skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and plumbers, with various tasks.
- Operate basic construction equipment and power tools (drills, saws, levels) under supervision.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Perform light demolition and cleanup duties after work shifts.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site to prevent accidents and delays.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor for long periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and standing for extended hours.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to and from work.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, early mornings, and overtime as needed.
- Basic understanding of construction safety practices and willingness to wear PPE at all times.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to follow instructions from supervisors and site managers accurately.
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus but not mandatory for entry-level candidates.
