Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing job sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and laying foundations.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Equipment Operation: Operate power tools, pressure washers, and light construction equipment under supervision.
- Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret basic blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements.
- Support Duties: Assist skilled tradesmen (carpenters, electricians, masons) with various tasks to ensure project timelines are met.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Experience: Prior construction experience is a plus, but we provide on-the-job training for motivated candidates.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Teamwork: Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
