Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers, forklifts) with proper certification
- Install and remove temporary safety barriers and scaffolding
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material setup
- Perform quality checks on completed work per blueprints
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA standards
- Complete daily progress reports and safety documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience required
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather
- Basic math skills for material estimation
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Experience operating skid steers and trenchers preferred
