Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in compliance with NYC building codes and OSHA regulations
- Diagnose electrical faults using advanced testing equipment and troubleshooting methodologies
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and clients to ensure project specifications are met
- Oversee apprentice electricians and ensure adherence to safety protocols
- Perform inspections and generate detailed technical documentation
- Respond to emergency service calls with rapid diagnostic and resolution capabilities
- Stay current with evolving electrical technologies and sustainable practices
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Electrician License (Class A or B)
- Minimum 5 years of verifiable commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- OSHA 10-hour certification and CPR/First Aid training
- Extensive knowledge of NEC, NYC Electrical Code, and local regulations
- Strong diagnostic skills with ability to resolve complex electrical issues
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Experience with smart home and renewable energy systems preferred
