Responsibilities
- Perform heavy manual labor including digging, lifting, and carrying materials to and from job sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various construction tasks.
- Operate basic construction equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
- Keep job sites clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Follow all safety regulations and OSHA guidelines strictly.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and maintain inventory of supplies.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and site plans.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Experience in construction or general labor is a plus but willing to train the right candidate.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measurements and material estimation.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
