Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation under night shift supervision
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain clean, organized job sites following OSHA safety protocols
- Assist skilled tradesmen with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing work
- Perform site inspections and report maintenance issues to project managers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
- Participate in daily safety briefings and toolbox meetings
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience or equivalent trade school certification
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Flexibility to work 10-hour night shifts (6 PM - 4 AM) with weekend availability
- Basic math skills for material calculations and measurements
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Oakland County
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
