Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily tasks and project execution.
- Perform general site cleanup, including removing debris, sweeping floors, and maintaining a tidy workspace.
- Operate basic construction tools and equipment under supervision to ensure smooth project flow.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, diagrams, and sketches to understand project requirements.
- Perform basic measurements and calculations to prepare materials for construction.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous construction or landscaping experience is a plus but not required.
- Must be able to lift, carry, and move heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Ability to stand, walk, and work in various weather conditions (heat, rain, etc.) for extended periods.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as project demands dictate.
