Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Prepare construction sites by clearing, digging, and leveling areas.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute construction materials, tools, and equipment to various work areas.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction machinery and hand tools under supervision.
- Site Maintenance: Keep the job site clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks as needed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Experience: Previous construction or general labor experience is a plus but not required.
- License: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Tools: Basic understanding of hand tools and construction terminology.
- Safety Mindset: Must be safety-conscious and willing to wear required PPE.
- Teamwork: Strong ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
