Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties on construction sites, including digging, hauling, and loading materials.
- Assist carpenters, electricians, and other tradespeople with daily tasks and project needs.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with site safety regulations.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, diagrams, and work orders when applicable.
- Unload and stock construction materials at the job site.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to prevent accidents.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in construction or a related field is a plus but not required.
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
