Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely and effectively (e.g., saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Assist skilled tradespeople with carpentry, masonry, and concrete work
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project specifications
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment
- Complete daily equipment maintenance and safety checks
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED acceptable)
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety practices
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and stand for extended periods
- Strong teamwork skills and willingness to follow instructions
- Pre-employment drug screening and background check required
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided if needed)
