Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up equipment, and ensuring safety protocols
- Operate hand/power tools (hammers, saws, drills) and heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts)
- Read blueprints and follow specifications for accurate material assembly
- Assist skilled tradespeople with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks
- Maintain clean and organized work areas while adhering to OSHA standards
- Participate in daily site briefings and contribute to project timelines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; construction training preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Basic math skills for material measurement and calculation
- Strong teamwork ethic and punctuality
- Background check and drug screen required
