Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, leveling ground, and digging trenches.
- Material Handling: Transport, load, and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Machinery Support: Operate basic construction machinery and hand tools under the supervision of experienced operators.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized job site, ensuring safety regulations are followed at all times.
- Assist Trades: Provide support to carpenters, electricians, and other skilled tradespeople as needed.
- Quality Control: Help ensure that work meets quality standards and project specifications.
Qualifications
- Experience: Prior experience in construction labor or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (50+ lbs) and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record are highly desirable.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and willing to work full-time hours.
- Safety Focus: Commitment to following all safety protocols and wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Communication: Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
