Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, lifting, material handling, and equipment operation
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with project-specific duties
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA safety standards
- Operate hand/power tools and construction machinery safely
- Read blueprints and follow verbal/written instructions from supervisors
- Assist in site preparation, demolition, and cleanup operations
- Report hazards and maintain daily equipment logs
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction or heavy labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with zero tolerance for absenteeism
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
