Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate basic tools and equipment under supervision (e.g., shovels, wheelbarrows, saws)
- Follow strict safety guidelines and wear required PPE at all times
- Load/unload construction materials and organize job sites efficiently
- Participate in trenching, excavation support, and concrete finishing tasks
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and report maintenance needs promptly
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with consistent attendance
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- No construction experience required - full training provided
