Responsibilities
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Operate heavy machinery and power tools as required by the supervisor.
- Assist skilled tradespeople in various tasks including framing, drywalling, and concrete work.
- Keep job sites clean, organized, and free of hazards in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Follow blueprints, diagrams, and oral instructions to complete projects accurately.
- Perform basic measurements and site preparation tasks.
- Communicate effectively with team members and project managers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience as a construction laborer or general laborer is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy physical labor in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read basic instructions.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
