Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting, carrying materials (up to 75 lbs)
- Operate hand/power tools safely: saws, drills, jackhammers, etc.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with construction tasks (framing, concrete work)
- Maintain clean, organized job sites per OSHA standards
- Load/unload trucks and equipment efficiently
- Follow blueprints and supervisor instructions precisely
- Report safety hazards immediately to site supervisor
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic math skills for material calculations
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Physical stamina for 8-10 hour shifts
