Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
- Site Assistance: Assist carpenters, electricians, and other tradespeople with various on-site tasks.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction machinery and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and maintain a clean, hazard-free work area.
- Measurements: Read blueprints, schematics, and plans to understand project requirements.
- Physical Labor: Perform heavy lifting, digging, and general construction duties as directed.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in construction or general labor is a plus but not required.
- License: Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time, Monday through Friday, with potential weekend overtime.
- Communication: Basic English skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Tools: Willingness to provide personal safety gear (boots, hard hat) or learn to use provided equipment.
