Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and stack building materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks, including carpentry, concrete pouring, and framing.
- Operate heavy machinery and power tools, including forklifts, bobcats, and drills (training provided).
- Prepare and clean job sites by digging trenches, removing debris, and setting up scaffolding.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and site plans to understand project requirements.
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
- Perform physical labor including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Qualifications
- Must be physically fit and able to perform strenuous labor for 8+ hours a day.
- Valid Class C California Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions (extreme heat, rain, cold).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.
- Reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
- Previous construction experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training available.
