Responsibilities
- Perform general manual labor tasks including digging, lifting, and carrying materials to job sites.
- Assist carpenters, electricians, and other skilled tradespeople with various on-site duties.
- Load and unload construction materials from trucks and organize job sites efficiently.
- Operate basic construction equipment such as forklifts, skid steers, and power tools safely.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and OSHA guidelines at all times.
- Clean work areas and remove debris to maintain a safe and organized workspace.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, diagrams, and project plans.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in various weather conditions.
- Previous experience in construction or general labor is a plus but not required.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work at heights when necessary.
- Basic math skills for measuring and estimating quantities.
