Responsibilities
- Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various construction tasks.
- Perform general site cleanup, including removing debris and waste.
- Operate basic construction equipment and tools safely and correctly.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a hazard-free worksite.
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials as directed by supervisors.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down job sites.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous construction or labor experience is a plus but not required.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Basic ability to read and understand blueprints or safety diagrams.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
