Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Prepare construction sites by clearing and preparing the area, removing debris, and setting up work areas.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites efficiently.
- Assistance & Support: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily tasks to ensure project milestones are met on time.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate hand and power tools, as well as basic heavy machinery (e.g., forklifts, skid steers) under supervision.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a zero-incident workplace.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards throughout the workday.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy physical labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Availability: Reliable attendance and flexibility to work full-time hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as project demands require.
- Experience: Previous experience in construction or general labor is preferred but not required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to follow instructions from supervisors clearly.
- Driver's License: Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record are required for site transportation.
- Team Player: A proactive attitude and a willingness to collaborate with diverse teams on-site.
