Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, lifting, carrying, and moving heavy materials.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) with daily site operations.
- Operate basic construction equipment and power tools safely and correctly.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, marking areas, and setting up temporary workspaces.
- Ensure the work site is kept clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Load and unload construction materials from delivery trucks and organize stock.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and environments (hot, cold, dusty).
- Basic understanding of construction safety practices is a plus.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- Basic math skills for measuring and estimating quantities.
