Responsibilities
- Load and unload materials: Safely transport tools, lumber, and other construction supplies to and from the job site.
- Site Preparation: Assist in digging, leveling, and preparing the ground for foundations and structures.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction equipment and power tools under supervision.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times.
- Assist Tradespeople: Provide support to carpenters, electricians, and plumbers as needed.
- Follow Safety Protocols: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety guidelines and site regulations.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and have a strong work ethic.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Work History: Previous construction experience is preferred but not required for enthusiastic candidates.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are highly preferred.
- Team Player: Ability to work well within a team structure.
