Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and organizing materials
- Load/unload heavy equipment and supplies using proper lifting techniques
- Assist skilled tradesmen (carpenters, masons, electricians) with tasks per supervisor instructions
- Operate hand/power tools safely (drills, saws, jackhammers)
- Maintain site cleanliness and comply with OSHA safety protocols
- Read basic blueprints and measurement markings
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – training provided!
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform physical labor in all weather
- Valid state ID and reliable transportation to job sites
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings
