Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting and material handling at active construction sites
- Assist carpenters, masons, and skilled trades with project tasks
- Operate basic hand tools and power equipment safely
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow OSHA protocols
- Read and interpret basic construction blueprints and instructions
- Load/unload trucks and stage materials efficiently
- Participate in site preparation, demolition, and cleanup operations
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old with valid photo ID
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in outdoor environments
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Charlotte metro
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings
- Basic math skills for material measurements
- Team-oriented attitude and strong work ethic
