Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling and site preparation
- Operate basic hand/power tools safely and efficiently
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Follow OSHA safety protocols at all times
- Perform heavy lifting (up to 75 lbs) and physical labor
- Assist in equipment operation (forklifts, excavators with training)
- Complete daily task logs and progress reports
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
- Basic tool knowledge (hammers, saws, levels)
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to follow verbal instructions
- Previous construction experience preferred but not required
