Responsibilities
- Execute excavation, demolition, and earthmoving tasks using hand tools and heavy machinery
- Assist skilled trades with material handling, equipment operation, and site preparation
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and maintain organized job sites
- Read blueprints and construction plans for accurate task execution
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and construction vehicles
- Perform concrete pouring, framing support, and finishing work
- Collaborate with supervisors to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Willingness to travel to job sites in Cleveland metro and Pennsylvania
