Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, site prep, and equipment operation
- Maintain clean and organized job sites per OSHA safety standards
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) with proper training
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project specifications
- Perform heavy lifting (up to 75 lbs) and physically demanding tasks
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Participate in daily team briefings and progress meetings
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Physical stamina to work 8-10 hour days in outdoor environments
- Basic math skills for material measurements and calculations
- Willingness to travel between Jacksonville, FL and Savannah, GA sites
- Previous construction experience preferred but not required
- OSHA 10-hour certification (we provide training)
