Responsibilities
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting materials (up to 50 lbs), and operating hand tools
- Assist skilled tradespeople with site preparation, cleanup, and material handling
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain organized work areas
- Read basic blueprints and follow supervisor instructions accurately
- Operate light equipment like jackhammers and power washers after certification
- Complete daily progress reports and maintain project documentation
- Participate in mandatory safety briefings and training sessions
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Willingness to work outdoors in Florida heat and humidity
- Strong communication skills in English (Spanish a plus)
- Minimum 1 year construction or related labor experience preferred
- OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
