Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites using hand trucks, forklifts, or pallet jacks.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing job sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Cleaning & Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe work area by sweeping, removing trash, and ensuring tools are stored properly.
- Demolition: Assist in light demolition tasks, including breaking down old structures and removing debris under supervision.
- Basic Labor: Perform a variety of manual tasks such as mixing concrete, digging ditches, and assisting skilled tradespeople with various projects.
- Equipment Support: Operate and maintain basic construction equipment and power tools safely and efficiently.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must have a strong work ethic and be willing to work in all weather conditions.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred.
