Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material handling and site preparation
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and heavy machinery under supervision
- Perform concrete work including pouring, finishing, and demolition
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and site cleanliness
- Read blueprints and follow verbal instructions from site supervisors
- Manage inventory and organize equipment storage areas
- Participate in emergency response drills and safety briefings
Qualifications
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic math skills for measurement calculations
- Willingness to obtain OSHA-10 certification (training provided)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to follow verbal instructions without constant supervision
